Our Story
The Vietnamese Wedding Directory was born from personal experience and a genuine need within our community.
When we began planning our own wedding, we quickly discovered a significant challenge. There was no resource to find wedding vendors who truly understood and had personal experience with Vietnamese traditions and culture.
Our search for authentic Vietnamese wedding vendors became a time-consuming journey. We spent countless hours researching businesses, browsing their multiple websites for examples of previous Vietnamese weddings, and trying to determine if they had the cultural understanding to bring our vision to life.
We found ourselves asking the same questions repeatedly:
- “Have they worked with Vietnamese families before?”
- “Do they understand the importance of the tea ceremony?”
- “Can they accommodate our traditional customs?”
- “Will we have to guide them or will they be able to guide us?”
What should have been an exciting time became overwhelming as we pieced together information from scattered sources. We knew there had to be a better way.
Our Mission
The Vietnamese Wedding Directory was created to solve this exact problem. We’ve built a comprehensive resource that connects couples with Vietnamese-owned and culturally knowledgeable wedding vendors throughout the United States.
Our directory serves two important purposes:
- Helping couples easily find vendors who understand Vietnamese wedding traditions and cultural nuances.
- Supporting Vietnamese-owned businesses by connecting them with clients who value their cultural expertise.
What Makes Us Different
Unlike general wedding directories, we focus specifically on vendors who understand Vietnamese weddings and Tea Ceremonies. Every business listed in our directory is currently Vietnamese-owned (we will soon provide a section of additional businesses that are non-Vietnamese owned, but still have significant experience serving the Vietnamese community).
